Back in March we co-hosted a Science of Digital Fabrication event with the Office of Science and Technology at the White House. The schedule and speaker’s slides are all now posted here and now MIT’s TechTV has posted all the lectures on the Center for Bits and Atoms TechTV collection. I highly recommend Jennifer Lewis, Skylar Tibbits, and George Church’s talks if you have 10 minutes each.
You can also see my talk on virtual machine control in this video around minute 46 (there is no sound in the beginning for some reason):
After the symposium there was an exhibit as well, which is unfortunately not documented, but featured work by Erik and Marti Demaine, Jenna Fizel, Nervous System, Ron White, George Church, Formlabs, as well as work by Ilan Moyer and I.
