Robot Painter
The robot painter was a one-week project at the end of the first year of AI at the UvA, done with Arjan Nusselder and supervised by Arnoud Visser in the fall of 2005.
During this project, we wanted to let a UMI-RTX robot arm illustrate the users emotions. In practice, this meant interpreting user text input and generating images based on this input. The images are then converted to movements of the robot arm, which in turn should draw these images on a canvas.
