Short update from SETC, where I get to hang out with these cool kids in the fablab. It’s open to the community on Thursdays from 4-9pm
Ralik John and Taylor Dawn Hicks with self-designed, milled and assembled flashlight, and CNC-embroidered Step Squad scarf. If you come by sometime Taylor may teach you to step.
James has been tinkering with electronics and likes game controllers. He fixed his xbox in the fablab using the pennies-as-heatsinks trick, and has since been pimping it out with lights, fans and cut-aways.
Moulding and casting with Aaliyah, terrifying animals (and sometimes cookies) with Samuel.
Dave Mellis came for a bit and taught the kids how to make fab speakers
