Week 8: Input devices
This week consisted mostly of play. I made the button, microphone, light sensor, temperature and step sensing boards do just see what the different sensors could do. I made them all on the vinyl cutter and mounted them on an acrylic board, which turned out not to be the most durable solution, so now I actually already broke 3 of the devices. I tried fixing on the mta jacks with epoxy first, but really, the only (unaesthetic but functional) solution is lots and lots of hot glue.
To play around with the input more, I modified some of the python scripts, mainly the microphone one to count the number of times you scream (or realistically make a loud noise) at the board. You can download my microphone script here.
